Shaded collects the information needed to provide language-learning accounts, save progress, process purchases, improve the product, and operate our website and apps.
Information we collect
- Account information, such as email address and authentication details.
- Learning activity, such as answers, review history, settings, and progress.
- Limited purchase metadata from app stores or payment providers. We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes.
- Website attribution data, such as UTM parameters, landing page, referrer, anonymous visitor ID, anonymous session ID, and browser user agent.
How we use information
- To provide Shaded and keep your progress synced.
- To choose practice and review timing.
- To provide customer support and service notices.
- To understand which campaigns or links bring visitors to the about site.
- To protect Shaded from abuse and diagnose service issues.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may use service providers for hosting, analytics, authentication, notifications, app distribution, and payments, and we may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.
Your choices
You can request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting privacy@shaded.app. You can also use the account deletion instructions on the delete account page.
